The Legends Rock n Roll Club were proud to present Don Honorary a complimentary Twelve Month Membership for a job well done.
Don, always first on the scene has been taken on the role of setting up the tables/decorations etc on club nights, a fantastic helper to our club.

The Legends Rock n Roll Club were proud to present Ben and Joan Honorary complimentary Twelve Month Memberships.
Both Ben and Joan have stepped up and taken on the task of Demo Co-Ordinator and also Dance lessons for the Legends Club at the Starlight Lounge.

COVID-19 : Legends Membership Update.

Due to the current situation the Legends Rock and Roll and Community Club would like to offer all of our members the opportunity to take up membership renewal for 2020-2021 at a reduced cost of $20.

New members can also take the opportunity to become members for the same cost.

There will however be no handling of cash payments as this time. All payments will need to be made in either of the following ways:

Direct Funds Transfer (DFT) or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) :

The process for renewing or becoming a new member will be as follows:

Send an SMS message to Membership Officer (Patricia) on 0418 851 420. The message must include your name, membership number (if renewing), how you intend to pay and include the following statement: I have read and acknowledge the Waiver of Liability (see below for specific details).

Once SMS and payment has been received your membership will be processed. If you send a self stamped addressed envelope your card will be sent back to you. Otherwise your card can be collected once club events are up and running.

Dancing is a physical sport and any physical activity has the potential for injury.

Such injury can be to yourself, or to others. The Legends Roc k and Roll and Community Club Inc.

Cannot be held responsible for any injuries members either (i) receive himself or herself or (ii) inflict on others

I acknowledge

the potential for injury to yourself and/or others.

Legends Rock and Roll Club Life Membership: Rita Orlando.

The Legends Rock 'n' Roll Club are proud to present the Legends Life Membership award to Rita Orlando.

In recognition of outstanding service to the club, during her hard times with illness etc, always putting her hand up to help the club.

A guard of honour with Julie Adamic bringing Rita to the front and DJ Ron playing Rockin' Rita, a great tribute to a wonderful lady.

Thank you for all you have done over the years for the Club.

COVID-19 : Legends Social Events.

Dear Legends members and friends.

As you are aware with the current regulations we are still unable to return to normal operations and therefore membership renewal for the 2020 to 2021 period will not function in the same way.

As we are not sure when the regulations will be flexible enough for us to have any dance nights the Committee has decided to put all memberships on hold for the time being.

Once we are informed we will let you know when membership will be opened up and how it will be managed.

We will keep you posted via SMS, Facebook, Email and web site.

COVID-19 : Legends Rock and Roll Club.

Dear members and friends,

Due to the current situation with COVID-19 the Australian Govement recommendations on keeping non essential internal gatherings to less than 100 The Legends Rock and Roll Club Committee have decided to cancel all planned dance nights and special nights until COVID-19 is no longer a threat to its members or the community.

We are aware that this is a time of uncertainty however we would like to stress that the health of you all is very important to us and that once we are back in business you will be notified through SMS, our Facebook page, our web site and via email.

We will keep you posted on any updates and if you have any questions, concerns or queries please contact either Club President Ann Sharkey 045 809 5746 or Club Secretary Patricia Greaves 041 885 1420.

Friday Club Night with The Cadillacs Cancellation Notice.

It is with regret during this global pandemic and in line with Government guidelines and in conjunction with The Slovenian Club Committee, the Legends Committee has made the decision to cancel Friday Club Night with The Cadillacs.

The Cadillacs are very supportive of this move and are in agreeance with the Legends Committee that club members, family friends attending are very import to us, so is your health and wellbeing.

The Legends Committee will keep everyone informed via text messages from our President Ann Sharkey, Facebook will also be updated and the Legends web page.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, we need to do our bit to support that goal so we may meet on the dance floor once again.
